Objectives of the project
In partnership with CESIE (Italy), Pro Work (The Netherlands), STEP (Spain) and VCC Foundation (Poland), ADICE has developed a strategic partnership, aiming at promoting and capitalizing international mobility projects.
International mobility projects are now considered all over Europe as new non-formal education opportunities for people to gain new personal and professional skills. PC IMPRESS goal is to highlight the social and professional values gained through international projects. PC IMPRESS tries to tackle the issue of “what’s after an international mobility?” with relevant methodology and usefull tools.
The PC IMPRESS project is mainly about the promotion of formal and informal knowledge coming from mobility as a way to strengthened people’s employability. It addresses all the beneficiaries of mobility and offer concrete tools to accompany them. Also, PC IMPRESS pay a special attention to social integration, indeed international mobility experience can create a landmark loss, then follow up the people with fewer opportunities after such an experience is highly important.
ADICE is a non-profit organization, created in 1999. ADICE main aim is to actively support against discrimination and to facilitate the social inclusion of persons with fewer opportunities: job seekers, migrants, and social disadvantaged persons by supporting their participation in national, European and international training and mobility programs.
VCC Foundation undertakes and conducts research and development activities within vocational education as well as transferring knowledge and innovation by using intellectual capital resources. Activity of VCC Foundation focuses on theoretical and methodological aspects of continuing vocational education as well as certifying professional qualifications, especially in the informal and non-formal systems.
Foundation Knowledge Centre PRO WORK was established in the Netherlands as a Centre of Excellence as a direct result of the experience and activities in several National and EU projects. PRO WORK promotes the career development of people with a (significant) distance to the labor market, skilled workers and others who need coaching, training and counseling in a wide variety of sectors and topics, national and international.
CESIE – European Centre of Studies and Initiatives www.cesie.org – is a non-profit, apolitical, and secular non-governmental organization with member organizations in more than eight European countries. It was established in 2001, inspired by the work and theories of the pacifist Danilo Dolci (1924-1997).
STEP is an organization with an enterprising spirit backed up by a highly qualified professional team.
Our work is focused on the initiatives generally suggested by the European commission: Work Placement in Spain and in the EU in the framework of LDV programmes, education, I+D+I, training and employment, disadvantaged groups and international cooperation.
